EPS has a long history in Marine work from BT Challenge Yachts through to narrow boats and we are now involved in the insulation of fish storage areas for one of the countries largest fishing boat manufacturers.
With our kits, we are saving this company money and not tying them down to a contractors schedule, and from all our responses the kits are doing a better job.

Applications
On construction of boat, spray foam to inside of Hull for insulation structural integrity, sound dampening qualities, thermal insulation, and removal of all condensation problems plus excellent buoyancy gain on void fill areas.

BT Challenge Yachts  

EPS were requested by Challenge Business to apply foam to their Yachts for the BT Global Challenge Round the World Yacht Race.

The yachts needed a void filling in between air tight bulk heads.
Through drilling small holes 0.5M apart we were able to create a 95% fill on this area. So if an influx of water was to happen, no water would get in between the bulk heads.
The anchor storage areas were sprayed with a high density foam to cut down on noise from chain storage and cut down on wear and tear.
You see each locker store carries 8 tonnes of sails.
Injected into Bulk head through small holes to fill voids where water could get in. Totally successful 95% fill.

Challenge business were so impressed with the results that they wrote a special letter of thanks to EPS.

Narrowboats  

A Narrowboat is home for many people the whole year round, so there are many benefits to be gained from the application of foam.

The Foam may be applied to the inside of a Narrowboat during construction or refurbishment. This work may be undertaken by EPS, or on a DIY basis using Froth Pak®.

The result is a vast improvement in Heat Insulation, Vibration Dampening, and Sound Insulation which greatly improves living conditions.
Also stops condensation thus prolonging life of boat and fittings.

EPS are now involved in the insulation of fish storage areas for one of the countries largest fishing boat manufacturers. The foam provides thermal insulation thus improving the efficiency of the cold storage units, and ultimately saving money on the running costs of the vessels
